ar. jean-kye lee

Hailing from The Federal Institute of Technology of Malaysia, Ar. Lee Jean-Kye then graduated with a degree in architecture at University of Liverpool in 2000. Throughout his architectural training, he has received several awards and scholarships, including the RIBA President’s Bronze Medal for his final year project.


Prior to founding Urban Catalyst, Jean formed a design & built company in 2007 where he further developed a boarder knowledge of the construction industry. With experience from various practices and ranging from mass housing, commercial developments, professional architectural consultancy, to project management and value engineering.

Director

ar. CHOW hanwen

Ar. Chow Hanwen studied architecture at Taylors College and completed his architecture degree at Hua Qiao Unitversity China in year 2009. During his academic years, his course work was selected to represent his university for China University Architecture Competition. He started his architectural career in Akitek Tenggara for 3 years, Urban Catalyst Design for 3 years and join Surbana Consultants at 2014.

 

He involved in the design of shopping mall, residential project and master planning for mixed development from schematic design stage until completion of construction stage. 2017, Hanwen got his professional architect registration with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia and joined Urban Catalyst again in 2018.

Associate

ar. adelynn LAI chea ying

Adelynn graduated with a Masters in Architecture from The University of Melbourne in 2014. Upon graduation, she embarked her architectural career with OBS Architect in 2014 and subsequently joined Urban Catalyst Project (UCP) in 2015. Throughout her years in the industry, she was involved in various project types such as industrial buildings, residential projects, commercial towers as well as master planning for mixed development. Her experience covered from schematic design phase to final completion phase as well liaising with authorities and regulators.


In 2019/2020, Adelynn obtained her Architect license with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia. The notable projects which she has involved in include Paxtonz & Mossaz at Empire City and Tropical Villa at Bukit Serdang.
